Foilstock

Quality starts at our own casthouse and with outside smelters, where we have developed very clean routes to support demanding foil applications. Here rolling ingot of 620mm thickness is produced. The ingot is hot rolled to a coil with a thickness of 3mm. The configuration of our process, with a cold quench of the hot plate and cold finishing, results in special mechanical
properties.

Our experience in lithographic products assures exceptional surface quality. The coil is then rolled to final thickness on the cold mill, which is dedicated to foilstock production. Final width trimming and quality checks are completed. Full control over the annealing process allows us to deliver material in a condition precisely to customers' requirements. Our entire management process is controlled and assured to ISO 9001:2000 standards and our environmental and safety management systems comply with ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards.
